
Tasty Banana Cake
Ingredients
- 1 pkg yellow cake mix
- 1 1/4 C thinly sliced ripe bananas
- 1 C buttermilk or sour milk
- 1/4 C cold coffee

- 1 C powdered sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 T butter or margarine
- 1-2 T cold coffee

Preheat oven to 350° (325° for colored fluted tube pan). Grease and flour 12-C fluted tube pan. In large bowl, blend first 5 ingredients; beat 2 min. at highest speed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40-50 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool upright in pan 45 min., turn onto serving plate. Cool completely. Mix Glaze ingredients until smooth; spoon over cake.

*Tip: To make sour milk, combine 1 T vinegar or lemon juice and enough milk to make 1 C.
