Strawberries 'N Cream Puff Ring

Course Dessert


  • 1/2 C butter or margarine
  • 1 C water
  • 1 C flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 C homemade vanilla pudding
  • 2-4 C sliced fresh strawberries (reserve some for garnish if desired)


  1. Preheat oven to 425°. Grease 12-cup fluted tube pan. In medium saucepan, melt butter in water. Stir in flour and salt all at once until dough separates from sides of pan and forms a ball. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Spoon dough into greased pan. Bake 40-50 min. until golden brown. Remove immediately from pan and cut in half crosswise. Remove top to cool. Spoon pudding onto bottom of puff ring. Layer with sliced strawberries. Cover strawberries with top half of puff ring. Combine Glaze ingredients; blend until smooth. Spoon over ring. Garnish with strawberries, if desired. (Refrigerate any leftovers) 8-10 servings.
