Shrimp with Lobster Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Shrimp
- ¼ C olive oil
- 1 Garlic clove minced
- ½ lb. Ground Pork
- 2 T. Cornstarch
- ¼ C. Soy Sauce I do 1/3 C.
- 1 tsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Pepper I put a little more pepper and a little less salt
- 2 ¼ C. Boiling Water
- 2 eggs
- ½ C. Slivered Green Onion
Instructions
-
Heat oil in large skillet type pan. Add garlic and pork; saute until pork is no longer pink, about 10 minutes (stirring throughout). Meanwhile, in a small bowl, make a smooth mixture of cornstarch and 1/3 C. water. Stir into pork the soy sauce, sugar, sale, pepper, boiling water, and cornstarch mixture; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring, until thickened and translucent – about 10 minutes. Add de-veined, de-shelled, cleaned shrimp. Cook over low heat until shrimp is done. Be careful to not overcook. (about 5 minutes) In a small bowl, beat eggs slightly with a fork. Stir all at once into sauce (eggs will form shreds). Add green onion and you’re done! Serve over rice.
