
Sherie’s Fish Taco’s
Ingredients
- Fish:
- I use Trident’s Breaded Tilapia but you can use any battered fish/fish sticks. OR fresh white fish broiled with lime juice, salt and pepper is good too.
- White Sauce:
- cup • 2/3sour cream
- cup • 1/3mayo
- tsp • 1 – 2ground cumin
- tsp • ½anise seed crushed if you can find
- tsp • 1pepper
- tsp • 1chili powder
- tsp • 1salt
- • Lime juice from ½ - 1 lime
- Mix it up and let it set for a bit to capture all of the flavors
- Topping:
- • Sliced cabbage I buy cole slaw mix with carrots and purple cabbage
- • Sliced onion 1/2?
- • Chopped cilantro at least ½ a bunch
- in • Jalapeno – minced (you can keep the seedssince it’s so dispersed but up to you)
- • Lime juice from ½ - 1 lime
- in Combinea plastic baggy and give it a shake or ten

I prep all of the sauces and toppings, including corn salsa if I’m ambitious. I use both corn and flour tortillas to suit the eater (I’m a flour tortilla gal). Cook the fish, warm up the tortillas and put it all together including finely shredded cheese to top it off.
