
Russian Teacakes
Ingredients
- 1 C margarine or butter softened
- 1/2 C powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/4 C flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 C finely chopped nuts
- Powdered or colored sugar
Instructions

Heat oven to 400°. Mix margarine, 1/2 C powdered sugar and the vanilla. Stir in flour, salt and nuts. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set but not brown, 8-9 min. Roll in powdered sugar while warm; cool. Roll in powdered sugar again. About 4 doz.
