Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 - 3 C flour divided
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 C hot water
  • 2 T oil
  • 1/2 lb Ital sausage
  • 1 can tomato sauce divided (more), 8 oz
  • 1 1/2 lb Mozzerella shredded, 1/2 monterey jack
  • 1 lb can or 1/2fresh mushrooms 8 oz
  • oregano basil, paprika
  • pepperoni
  • Ham
  • Onion
  • hamburger
  • Green pepper
  • olives
  • hot dogs

Instructions

  1. In a lg bowl, mix together 1 C flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Add water and oil and beat 1 min. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured board and knead 8 min. Place in greased bowl, grease top. Cover and let rise 1 hr or till doubled. Punch down, divide in half and roll dough into 2 circles 14" about 1/8" thick. Place on greased cookie sheets of the same size forming a rim with the dough. Slice Italian sausage and brown (hamburg too) and set aside. Top each crust with half of the tomato sauce, cheese, mushrooms, etc. Sprinkle with spices. Bake at 350° 25 min or less.
