
Nut Cups
Ingredients
- Pastry:
- 6 oz cream cheese
- 1 C butter
- 2 C flour
- Misc:
- 1 C chopped pecans

- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 C brown sugar
- 2 T melted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt

Blend cream cheese and butter. Gradually mix in flour to make a smooth dough. Shape dough into 1 1/4" balls. Put into 1 3/4" muffin cups or 2 1/4" sandbakels tins. Press firmly to completely cover bottom and sides making a shell.

Filling-

Beat eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt till smooth. Sprinkle half of pecans over unbaked dough in cups. Spoon filling mixture into each cup filling about 3/4 full. Sprinkle each with the rest of the pecans. Bake at 350° for 15 min. Turn oven to 250° and bake 10 more min.

Makes about 3 dozen, depending on size or pans used.
