  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 C bread crumbs
  • ½ C milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • oregano
  • basil
  • Italian Seasoning


  1. Mix all ingredients. Make into 1 ½ - 2 inch balls. Fry in olive oil over medium heat turning frequently until brown on all sides and cooked through. (I smash with a fork as Grammie Rose does) When all balls are made and in the sauce, spoon a bit of sauce into the frying pan to soak up the flavors. Empty the frying pan of goodness into the sauce pan, using a rubber spatula to get every drop!
