
Garlic Cream Shrimp with Pasta
Ingredients
- 16 cloves unpeeled garlic
- 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1/4 C. olive oil
- 3 C. heavy cream
- 1 lb linguine
- 1/2 C. parsley
- 1 C grated parmesan cheese
Instructions

Bring large pot of water to boil over high heat. Boil garlic 2 min. Add shrimp & cook 2-3 min. until shrimp are pink & just cooked through. Drain. Peel and mince garlic. Heat oil in heavy non-stick skillet on med high heat. Saute garlic 1 min. Add cream. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 3-4 min until cream begins to thicken. Stir in shrimp, parsley & parmesan. Season with salt & pepper to taste. Cook pasta.<

personal note I substituted chicken for shrimp/mushy garlic for cloves/1/4 C. parsley/and round hat style pasta for linguine and it was fantastic. - jen
