Egg Foo Yung
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 C water
- 1/4 C slivered onions
- 1/2 C bean sprouts or finely cut celery
- Salt and pepper soy sauce
- 1/2 C chopped cooked lean meat: chicken lobster or shrimp
- 1/2 C sliced water chestnuts or mushrooms
Instructions

Beat eggs and water together. Add onion, sprouts, meat, chestnuts, salt, pepper, soy sauce. Spread in thin layer in well-buttered, heated omelet pan. Brown on both sides. Serves 4. (Make a gravy from meat drippings and cornstarch)
