Coconut-Pecan Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 C evaporated milk
- 1 C sugar
- 3 slightly beaten egg yolks
- 1/2 C butter or margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/3 C coconut
- 1 C chopped pecans
Instructions

Combine evap milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla. Cook and stir over med. heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Add coconut and pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally. Makes 2 1/2 C.
