
Cheese-y Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 6 Pork Chops
- 2 eggs beaten
- ½ C dry bread crumbs
- ¼ C olive oil
- 2 T water
- 6 T ketchup
- Cheese Sauce
- ½ C finely shredded cheese
- Paprika
- in Dip pork chops into eggs; coat with bread crumbs. Brown porkolive oil over medium heat. Add water and reduce heat. Cover and cook over low heat until done about 30 min.
- Cheese Sauce
- 2 T butter
- 2 T flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 C chicken broth
- 1 C half and half
- 1 C finely shredded cheese
Instructions

Melt butter in small saucepan. Blend in flour, salt, nutmeg & cayenne pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Stir in broth and half-and-half. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in cheese until melted.

Pulling it all together

Arrange cooked pork in a rectangular baking dish. Top each piece with 1 T Ketchup. Spoon cheese sauce on and around pork. Sprinkle cheese and paprika over the top. Broil from 6-7 inches away from heat until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly. Only takes a few minutes.
