
Caramel Swirl Crown Cake
Ingredients
- 1 pkg yellow cake mix
- 1 1/4 C water
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 C caramel ice cream topping
- 12 C chopped nuts
- 3 T flour
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350° (325° for colored fluted tube pan).

Grease and flour 12-C fluted tube pan.

In large bowl, combine cake mix, water, eggs and vanilla.

Blend until moistened; beat 2 minutes on highest speed.

Measure 1 C batter into small mixing bowl.

To this, add ice ream topping, nuts and flour; mix well.

Pour yellow batter into prepared pan; pour caramel mixture over batter in pan.

Swirl slightly.

Bake 45 - 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool upright in pan 45 min; turn onto serving plate.

Cool completely.

If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle cake slices with caramel ice cream topping.
