
Butter Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 C milk
- 1/2 C margarine
- 3/4 - 1 C sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 5 T flour
- 1/2 C Crisco
Instructions

Combine milk and flour. Cook until thick. Cool. Strain. In a separate bowl mix marg., Crisco, sugar, vanilla. Beat at high speed until fluffy. Add milk sauce and continue beating until very light.

*variations: Make it with brown sugar and maple flavoring or chocolate or with cherry juice and pink coloring.
