
Bran Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 C Bran Buds
- 2 C boiling water
- 3 C sugar
- 1 C butter
- 4 eggs
- 5 tsp soda
- 1 tsp sal5t
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 5 C flour
- 1 qt buttermilk
- 1 C dry Bran Buds
- 1 C dry All Bran

Mix well; set aside: 2 C Bran Buds 2 C boiling water

Mix in a very large bowl: 3 C sugar 1 C butter 4 eggs 5 tsp soda 1 tsp sal5t 2 tsp vanilla 5 C flour 1 qt buttermilk 1 C dry Bran Buds 1 C dry All Bran

Cream the sugar and butter. Add eggs, vanilla, salt and soda. Mix well. Add 1 C flour at a time. Then add buttermilk slowly. Last, add the wet bran. Then add 1 C dry Bran Buds, 1 C All Bran. Put in refrigerator for 3 or 4 hours. This will keep 6 to 8 weeks. Remember, don't stir down when filling muffin cups.

You can add nuts, raisins, blueberries, or anything else you wish by putting them in the bottom of the muffin cups. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes. Recipe fills 1 gallon jar.
