
Alice's Carmel Corn
Ingredients
- 1 C butter
- 2 C brown sugar
- 1/2 C dark corn syrup
- 6 Qts popped corn
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Peanuts
Instructions

Melt butter; stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla.

Pour over popped corn; mix well.

Turn into 2 large shallow pans. Bake in 250° oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

Remove from oven - cool.
